Bury Council - assessing noise in clubs, pubs and shops
Bury Council’s Health & Safety Team will be taking the lead on Noise Action Week 2012, visiting noisy workplaces including pubs, clubs, retail shops and entertainment venues, to give advice and noise assessments in relation to the Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005 - which set lower and higher action levels which, if exceeded, require employers to implement control measures to reduce noise exposure.
