Let us know what you’re planning for Noise Action Week 2021

Lots of great activities have taken place in the region in previous years – including:
Project DeStress encouraged people in Sheffield to identify open spaces where they go for quiet and calm to support research into developing healthy urban soundscapes
Yorkshire Housing promoted Noise Action Week through social media and running internal training and provided sound meters for tenants promoted, on YouTube – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ksqtYNCff_k
Bradford Council  worked with social housing provider Incommunities to talk about noise in their neighbourhoods
Your Headrow housing visited flats in Leeds and Dewsbury where noise complaints are common to raise awareness of solutions to the problems.
Hull CC – sounding out students In Hull, officers undertook a radio phone in, leaflet distribution and work with university and students in problem areas to sound out noise problems.
