Noise complaints to local councils – the numbers

A survey of noise complaints to local councils was recently undertaken by Noisenuisance.org.  the website is maintained by a few qualified and experienced environmental health professionals who volunteer in their spare time to help noise sufferers.   Micheal Eade looks at the findings. Councils risk losing control of late night noise during World Cup

The EPUK noise committee is concerned at yesterday’s government decision to re-consider a relaxation of licensing laws during the World Cup this summer – Vice Chair Gareth Hooper sets out the issues.
